About the author

K McKinnon

I studied French literature at university and was a secondary / high school teacher for 16 years in the state sector; sharing my love of languages (I taught French mainly and Latin too!) with students from all sorts of backgrounds. 

I moved into charity work with a medical NGO and became inspired to join the NHS. Now I'm in my final year of training to become a radiographer! My book series is something I waited to begin as writing takes time and commitment. My father was a writer and from him I gained my love of language and fascination for human stories.

I have just republished all my books under my own name, Katrina McKinnon, as I spent two years testing them out on Amazon under a pen name, K McCity (this was derived from my name and my husband's name!). I hope you enjoy them and please do reach out and give me feedback. The books are written purely to entertain and to promote a strong anti bullying message to empower anyone who is struggling.
